CTEK offers AMPECO integration of EV Charger

Almost half (40 percent) of those in Sweden who own an electric car or plug-in hybrid are frustrated by limitations in being able to charge the car regardless of the operator/provider of charging services without ev charger. By integrating CTEK with AMPECO , it will now be easier for electric car owners to pay for charging without having to have a variety of apps and charging cards.

AMPECO provides an independent platform for managing the charging of electric vehicles. In practice, this means that drivers are allowed to charge their electric cars with a number of apps and cards. The cloud-based platform handles advanced functions for payments and invoicing, operations, smart energy management, and customization through a public API.

AMPECO’s complete electric vehicle charging platform is hardware-based and fully supports the OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), which is found in all CTEK CHARGESTORM CONNECTED EVSE (Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment) products. It also includes direct EV roaming via OCPI and integration with roaming hubs that allow users to charge their cars on other networks.

Through the AMPECO app, users can find charging stations, easily connect to hubs like Hubject or Gireve and pay for charging, all through the AMPECO app.
